Poetry: humanity that allows us to life by Stefania Battistella (en/it)

Thinking about literary avant-garde of the 900 in which, rightly or wrongly, have been included many diversity, from poems with the words written so as to form a shape, for example, a house with a fireplace smoking, and continuing with the surrealists and also with those who have nothing to do with surrealism, maybe we could imagine where it would end the poetry of our dear twenty-first century. Fortunately, in this

case, there are exceptions that prove the rule. There are poets from "sausage festival" (with respect for the sausage) who can’t wait to grab a microphone to feel fulfilled, and it’s their opinion about poetry that I would like to know. This kind of poets now is widespread and, probably, deserves a name to be placed somewhere in the story, at least for the very large number "of participants" and to facilitate recognition. Although the pen is writing is mine, I don’t want to take the responsibility to give the idea to someone to foul the history of world literature, so if someone likes the idea, can safely consider it his. This long introduction to state emphatically that there is also something poetically inexplicable, that dwarfs bad intentions, conscious or subconscious, of poets for "sausage". The poem shows all his greatness, when it turns into a meeting point between people who come from the four corners of the world. This happened to 14 Nisan Festival, organized by Naim Araidi and his team of collaborators. The various cultures of the participants, intentions, problems, all of these components are fused together creating a sort of super man, that contains in itself all the answers to life's questions. The festival took place June 9 to 12, these days the topics have been many, every poet has stood the beauty and

the endless brutality of the earth from which they came. What other meaning given to poetry than this, the carriers of different worlds met and talked, sometimes with gestures, sometimes only a few sentences in a language other than their own. Poets of Gaza have brought the face of the rubble of their homes, and inform us that have given rise to an international forum of communication that takes care of spreading what the most "reasonable" country consider education and respect for others, the albanians poets were university professors, this must be explained to some Italian of right (politically…) who think to albanians just as thieves and uncaring, the turkish poet spread photos and news on Taksim Square, the Norwegian poet had the rationalization of hours for the lack of light in his face, together with a sweet embarrassment, local poets were pregnant of their land, expressing their untapped potential ... what we exchanged was awareness of who we are, maybe we understand a little 'more about our purpose on earth, which is very most importantly, we met other silent fighters that don’t leave escape life, who fight against that formidable tyrant, identifiable only in the malignant and ignorant intelligence of the human.
I'm sorry for my translation in english, for sure there are some mistakes, but I hope is understandable.

Riuscendoci.
